Download and install FlixFox APK to watch movies online for free

Download the latest FlixFox APK file (look for a big Download button at the FlixFox homepage). The APK will download, taking 57 MB or so, so it shouldn’t take a minute or two if you’re on Wi-Fi.

When downloaded, navigate to your Android Settings > Security (or Privacy). Locate the setting for Unknown Sources or Install unknown apps. Turn on the permission of your browser (e.g. Chrome) or file manager to install unknown sources apps. Important, as Android blocks unknown APK installs for safety.

When the APK is done downloading, you'll see a notification in the bottom-left corner of your screen (slide down the notification bar to access the Download folder, if you dont see the download notification already). Tap that notification, then look for something like FlixFox_v2.0.4.apk.

Click on the FlixFox APK file. If you see a prompt to confirm installation, select Install.

After the installation is complete, tap Open to launch FlixFox. Now you can begin browsing for movies and shows! It might ask you for permissions (storage access for downloads and other) at start if you are using this app for the first time – allow them all in order to perform all the functions as for the app to run properly. Now you are ready to stream for free on your phone.

Install it, and then set up by signing in through a Google account if you need to (this will make an Android environment available on your PC).

In BlueStacks you need to double-click on the APK file, and it will install using the BlueStacks App handler. First, start the emulator and ensure that it’s running.

Find the downloaded APK file on your PC (usually in your Downloads folder). Open it in the emulator> You can right-click the APK file, then click Open With> Select BlueStacks or just drag the file to the open BlueStacks window. FlixFox will be installed by the emulator as it would on a phone.

On your Firestick or Android TV, head to Settings > Security & Restrictions (Device Preferences > Privacy on some TVs). Locate the setting labeled Unknown Sources and set it to allow for the web browser or downloader app you’ll be using. (for example: on my TV I have a Chrome or Puffin browser, allow that; if you use the "Downloader" app on Firestick, allow that. This option will allow your TV to download apps from places other than the Google Play Store.

Next, go to the web browser of your TV (or the Downloader app). In your browser, load up the official FlixFox site (it’s the same mobile site you’ll use). Find the Download TV APK link or button. The site may also have separate downloads for the TV version.

When the download is complete, open File Explorer, and click the APK you downloaded. Choose Open File or navigate to your TV’s Downloads folder (or use a File Manager app) and find the FlixFoxTV apk file. Click on the file and you'll receive an invitation to install. Select Install, and then wait for the app to install on your TV. While running this script, other than minimal permissions it gets, if it asks for any permission (like asking to transact the installer), then go with it. After a few minutes, the installation will be completed.

Go back to the home screen or app drawer of your Android TV. Open FlixFox, log in or create an account for free if necessary, and start your content browsing. The remote-friendly TV interface is easy to navigate: use your TV remote to scroll through a tile-based list of movies and shows.
